How to Design Stac-King® Portable Racks
 
  • Determine your capacity

    Steel King has both Standard 2,000# and Heavy Duty 4,000# capacity StacKing racks available

  • Determine the Proper Size

    Please be sure to add room for corner sockets. On a heavy duty base at least 5" should be added to either the width or length of the StacKing rack - on standard duty at least 3 1/2" should be added.

    Example: You have a 42" x 48" load that weighs 4,000#. You would need to order AT LEAST 47" x 48" dimensions.

  • Select a Base Type

    Choose between open, plywood, wood board, sheet metal, expanded metal, etc. Here for more information. Or please contact us for more information.

  • Select Column Size

    Column size is clear height above deck. Please be sure to add high sockets if your columns will be 42" or greater above deck.
