Steel King is pleased to announce the introduction of MEGA GUARD, an all welded steel protector. MEGA GUARD is designed to help keep fork lift trucks and other in-plant vehicles from damaging facilities and equipment, while protecting employees. MEGA GUARD acts as both a visual and physical barrier against costly damage, downtime, and injury.

MEGA GUARD is constructed of rugged 4" square x 1/4" wall structural steel tubes, welded to 10"x10" x 5/8" baseplates. Baseplates are prepunched for anchoring to a concrete surface. Painted a bright safety yellow color, with a durable powder coat type paint. Tubes are welded "point up" for better sanitation and cleanliness. All joints are fully welded. One piece construction for quick installation.

MEGA GUARD has many advantages over typical "homemade" guards. Primary amongst these is the fact that MEGA GUARD was specifically designed for it's purpose, whereas homemade guard designs are frequently driven by the desire to utilize whatever materials happen to be on hand.

Since MEGA GUARD is prefabricated, it eliminates the time and costs of designing, searching for and purchasing materials, cutting, welding, and painting. Since MEGA GUARD is installed using anchor bolts, it also eliminates the costs of "core-drilling", while allowing the guard to be more easily moved to different areas within your facility.
